ProPublica: Trump Administration Sends Media Jobs to Mexico Despite “America First” Agenda

“Trump’s Social Media Company Outsourced Jobs to Mexico Despite Campaign Promises – Get the Inside Scoop!”

Former President Donald Trump’s social media company, Truth Social, has come under fire for outsourcing jobs to workers in Mexico, despite Trump’s public stance against outsourcing during his campaign and presidency. The company’s use of Mexican workers was confirmed by a spokesperson for Trump Media, the operator of Truth Social, who stated that the workers were hired through another entity for technical duties.

The outsourcing to Mexico has sparked outrage among the company’s staff, with a recent whistleblower letter calling for the removal of CEO Devin Nunes, a former Republican congressman. The letter alleges mismanagement and hiring practices that prioritize foreign contractors over American workers, contradicting the company’s “America First” ideals.

Trump Media defended its use of Mexican contractors, stating that only two individuals were employed and dismissing the criticism as “defamatory conspiracy theories.” The company’s reliance on foreign labor has raised concerns about the quality and alignment of its workforce with its core values.

Despite Truth Social’s claim of being “Proudly made in the United States of America,” the hiring of Mexican coders has caused frustration within the staff due to perceived lack of technical expertise. Trump, both as president and in his campaign, has been vocal about punishing companies that outsource jobs, making threats of tariffs against companies like John Deere and automakers moving production to Mexico.

The future value of Trump Media is closely tied to the results of the upcoming election, with the company’s stock price fluctuating as the election draws closer. Trump Media’s board member defended the use of foreign labor, citing the company’s global nature and industry practices.

This is not the first instance of Trump Media relying on foreign workers, as the company has previously used a foreign firm to source labor in the Balkans. CEO Devin Nunes has boasted about keeping costs down at Trump Media, though he did not mention outsourcing in his remarks.
